Effective August 23, 2026

This notice outlines the updated Marine Services requirements for the 2026-2027 season and the steps all boat owners must complete to remain eligible for winter storage and mooring services.

WHO THIS APPLIES TO:

  • Members, Renters, and the general public who store boats with RYC during the winter.
  • Members and Renters who keep a boat in the RYC mooring field during the season.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

Please obtain a PDF version of your Certificate of Insurance (COI) before clicking Register.

What is a COI?

A Certificate of Insurance (COI) is issued directly by your boat’s insurance provider; it is not a document you create yourself. Contact your insurance agent or carrier and request a COI for each boat you own, ensuring that Rowayton Yacht Club at Hickory Bluff is listed as the Certificate Holder.

Your insurer will email PDF file(s) to you. Save to your computer so they are ready to upload in the next step. Beginning in 2026, a current COI is required for every boat moored or stored with RYC.

HOW TO COMPLETE:

  • Obtain your COI from your insurance provider and confirm Rowayton Yacht Club at Hickory Bluff is listed as a Certificate Holder.
  • Click the Register button.
  • Review the updated Marine Services Guidelines page. Once read,
    • check the acknowledgment box,
    • provide your electronic signature,
    • Upload your COI.

Lastly, you'll receive an email with a link to our Winter Storage Registration for the 2026 season.  Please be on the lookout for this email.

    DEADLINE:

The acknowledgment of the updated Marine Services guidelines, the COI upload and the Winter Storage Registration are due bSeptember 15.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Regards,
Rowayton Yacht Club @ Hickory Bluff
